The Allan House Winter Wedding

Abby + Rutledge’s Christmas inspired winter wedding at the Allan House was jaw-droppingly beautiful.

Every inch of this Allan House wedding in downtown Austin, Texas was absolutely stunning. The elegant black tie affair featured crisp white florals, lush evergreen trees, and a Victorian mansion venue adorned in twinkling lights.

Abby and Rutledge’s dog, a handsome Australian Shepherd named Townes after their favorite musician, was the star of the show. Townes was an absolute ham for the camera, and we, avid Australian Shepherd lovers, loved every second of it. He got ready with Abby, was there for the first look, and even made it down the aisle to sit with his Mom and Dad before they said “I do”.

All the details picked out by Abby and Rutledge came together so beautifully for this wedding. Music means a great deal to them, and it was so thoughtfully featured throughout the day. They had a live string band for their ceremony, the cocktail hour featured soft Christmas jazz music, a live vinyl DJ mixed up beats during during the dinner service, and, for a grand finale, a swinging live band brought down the house during the reception.
